The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven Information Security Analyst to help strengthen and evolve our information security program. In this role, you’ll create and refine security policies, conduct technical assessments, and support internal systems – all while serving as a trusted security resource for our member lotteries across the country.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity, loves to travel, and enjoys translating technical knowledge into practical, real-world solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to lottery jurisdictions across the U.S. (up to 75% travel)
- Develop and maintain security policies and technical procedures
- Perform independent technical assessments of lottery gaming systems
- Interpret compliance standards and offer solutions to ensure member alignment
- Collaborate with IT and software teams on secure design for systems, including cloud-based platforms
- Monitor industry trends and contribute to developing new security standards
- Provide subject matter expertise in response to audits or findings
- Communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- One or more years of experience in information security or a related technical field (internship/coop experience welcome)
- Coursework or experience in software development or scripting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CISSP, CISA, or similar certification preferred—or willingness to pursue
- Foundational knowledge of areas like application security, access control, business continuity, and network security
- Bonus points for familiarity with tools and systems like Windows/Linux, Azure/AWS, firewalls, SIEM, Active Directory, penetration testing, and NIST or ISO security frameworks

Working Conditions
- Travel by air and vehicle required

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
